There's only one place in Colorado Springs that you can see over 85 one-of-a-kind light sculptures and 50 acres of lights and wild animals – Cheyenne Mountain Zoo's Electric Safari! This year's event will celebrate 26 years of holiday cheer starting December 9 – 23 (closed Christmas Eve) and December 25 – January 1, 2017. The event will run each night from 5:30 - 8:30 p.m. (the last admission sold at 7:30 p.m.). And Santa Claus will be taking holiday wishes each night through December 23.
Electric Safari nights are wild – boasting special animal keeper talks all 23 nights, and select animal exhibits will be open, including the giraffe barn, Encounter Africa, Rocky Mountain Wild (except grizzliy bears), Asian Highlands, Monkey Pavilion, Scutes Family Gallery, The Loft and Australia Walkabout!
