StoryTime with French Alliance

April 10 and 24 at 11:30 am

It's a special StoryTime with French flair! Instructors from Alliance Française de Denver will engage young ones with a French story, song and activity.

Closing Reception & Installation: April 12, 6 – 7 pm

Kia Neill works in mixed media drawing, painting, photography and sculpture. Pop in during her final open studio hours to pick her brain, collaborate on a piece and explore art in a whole new way, or come to her closing reception to see the unveiling of her installation, made just for the Museum.

Clay Studio

Clay studio open hours: Monday – Friday 10 am – 3 pm, weekends 11 am – 4 pm

Glazing: Wednesdays 5 – 7 pm, Fridays 12 – 2 pm, weekends 1 – 3 pm

Demonstrations: Times vary, check website for details

Stop by to glaze bisqueware or your own unique piece, take in a wheel demonstration or participate in a hand-building class. For a small fee, you can even glaze and fire your piece in one of our kilns!

 

New! Mud Pies: Mondays at 3 pm and Sundays at 10 am

Stop in and run your hands through a fresh batch of clay mud for the ultimate sensory experience!

 

New! Clay Stories: Tuesdays and Thursdays at 3 pm

Use your imagination to tell the story of a small world made entirely of clay!

 

New! Clay 101: Fridays at 3 pm and Saturdays at 10 am

Learn the basic building blocks of clay sculpting and pottery with a clay specialist.

Imaginations run wild with stories of far-off lands, wacky characters, friendships and fairytales. Each one has a theme with exciting stories and a fun activity, craft or song. Join us every Thursday for Delta Dental Healthy Smiles StoryTimes for fun dental health adventures and activities.
