What happens when you dig a hole? Will you find a spectacular treasure?

The class will read "Sam and Dave Dig a Hole" by Mac Barnett and learn about the archaeologists that dig to learn more about the past.

The class will also search for objects in museum exhibits and pass around unique artifacts and try to figure out the stories they tell!

After exploring the museum, everyone will create a sand-art craft that helps to learn how different layers of dirt form underground.

This class is suggested for ages four to eight.

 Parents participation needed.

Free. Donations welcome.

Families are encouraged to RSVP online or by phone.
