Celebrate Native history and culture and enjoy Native drums and dancers, Native art and artisans, birds of prey and live wolf exhibits, Aztec Dancers, Native vendors, Native food, such as Navajo tacos and fry bread, kid's activities, and more.

 

One Nation Walking Together, a local Native charity that provides items to the needy for daily living, is hosting a one-day Native American Traditional Powwow on Saturday, August 11, 2018, at the Norris Penrose Event Center.

This family-friendly event draws almost 3,000 people annually.

Celebrate Native history and culture and enjoy Native drums and dancers, Native art and artisans, birds of prey and live wolf exhibits, Aztec Dancers, Native vendors, Native food, such as Navajo tacos and fry bread, kid's activities, and more.

The Grand Entry is at 11 a.m. No drugs, alcohol or pets (except service animals) permitted. All proceeds support One Nation Walking Together.

Cash prizes for dancers. Drums by invitation only.

 

Admission is $5 at the door.

Doors open at 9:30 a.m. Grand Entry at 11 a.m.


Native Americans in full regalia and children 12 and under admitted free.

Please bring donations of non-perishable food to help feed the hungry.
