For over 130 years, the YMCA of the Pikes Peak Region has been working to put Christian principles into practice through programs. We’re not a gym, or a health club, or a day care center, but rather a deeply rooted, not-for-profit community service organization with a long history of success in working for the greater good.
The YMCA of the Pikes Peak Region offers the following services for Colorado Springs families:
- swim lessons and classes for ages 6 months to adult
- a variety of youth sports programs and leagues emphasizing skill development, healthy lifestyles, and values of caring, honesty, respect and responsibility.
- before- and after-school care and summer day camps for children
Built in 1998, the Briargate YMCA is part one of the fastest growing communities in Colorado Springs. Programs at this facility include Aquatics/swimming lessons, Child Watch, Youth and Family, Health and Wellness, Youth Sports, Karate, Prescool, Tweens and Teens.
