I take my daughter to Cottonwood Creek Park all the time. It's got a huge play area and there is almost always something happening on the field (soccer, football, etc.) which is great for watching. The Recreation Center is nice. It does not have a regular pool, however. It has a wave pool, water slide and little river. It's all indoors so it's great year-round. It can get pretty loud in there, so be prepared.

This place is great fun! There is a large outdoor playground with lots of climbing structures, swings and sand pit. Inside there is a wave pool, a slide, and a "lazy river" to swim in. Most of the water is shallow and there are lots of lifeguards.
