Dec. 30- Kid's FREE Day
We welcome you to the 4th Annual Colorado Kids Day. Two kids get in free with each paid adult. (5-12 yrs old). Your kids can hang with Cool Scientist, Mark Straube. He'll be conducting fun and educational experiments, with 2 shows at 11am and 2pm. You can explore a museum filled with dinosaurs and sea monsters, plus there will be plenty of hands-on experiences!

Anytime Activity Ideas: Visit the museum for tours and on-going hands-on activities.

Guided tours are available. Allow 30 minutes minimum.

Programs Offered: Scout programs are available.
Earn a Jr. Paleontologist "Paleo Patch." RMDRC Paleo Patch Program meets all the requirements for the Girl Scout Dinosaur badge, the Jr. Girl Scout Dinosaur Try-it badge, and some of the requirements for Boy Scout badges.

Cost is $6 per scout. Troop leader is free. No siblings please.

To schedule a Scout Group, please call 719-686-1820 x111. Scout Group must be scheduled at least 1 week in advance.

Minimum: 8 scouts Maximum: 20 scouts

Patch Program includes:
- Price included guided tour, workshop, Jr. Paleontology "Paleo Patch" and certificate
- Guided Tour is approximately one hour
- Explore our fascinating dinosaur exhibits
- Learn what a Paleontologist does
- Identify what makes a dinosaur a dinosaur
- See what lived in the oceans at the time of the dinosaurs
- See a working paleo lab
- Complete a scavenger hunt
- Fossil Workshop is approximately one hour
- Make your own "fossil" cast
- Discover how fossils are formed and preserved
- Learn where fossils are found
- Learn about casting techniques
- Participate in activities such as "Name That Dinosaur"

Here at the Rocky Mountain Dinosaur Resource Center, we offer Educational Tours to all ages. Come and learn the latest news in Earth Science.

Shop during our December Dinosauric Holidaze! From Dec 1st through Dec 24th, you'll get a special shopping discount of 10% on all gift shop purchases. The Prehistoric Paradise Gift Shop has the largest assortment of dinosaur themed and natural history merchandise in Colorado. Purchase books, videos, games, real fossils, gemstone jewelry and more. We'll even gift wrap them free! Santa will be at the museum every Saturday and Sunday in December from 11am to 3pm. Kids can hang with the dinosaurs and St. Nick while enjoying a bunch of fun and educational activities.

Adults: $11.50
Children 5-12: $7.50
Children 4 and under: free

* We offer a Military Discount of $1.00 off all above General Admission with current military ID.

To schedule a Tour, please call 719-686-1820 x111. Tour must be scheduled at least 1 week in advance.

*Groups are 10 people and up. All groups will receive a guided RMDRC tour (must be scheduled at least 1 week in advance). One adult per 10 children accompanying children groups is FREE. Each additional adult will pay adult group rate.

Tours will be split up into smaller groups of 20-25 and last approximately 1 1/2 hours after which the group may re-visit the exhibit areas at their leisure.

Transportation drivers are entitled to complimentary admission.
