EL PASO COUNTY FAIR AND PAINT MINES

Come and enjoy the fun andexcitement of the El Paso County Fair on July 31st and visit one of our area’smost unusual parks, the Paint Mines, a shocking display of hoodoos, cap rockcanyons and brightly-colored clay.

Start any time between 9:00AM and Noon and walk at your own speed to finish by 3:00 PM.  Both 5k (3.1 mi) and 10k (6.2 mi) distancesare offered.  The start is located inthe dance tent directly behind the grandstand at the Fair. .Strollers andwheelchairs are not recommended,. Sorry, but your four-footed walking companion is not allowed on ParkTrails or the Fairgrounds itself.
